Pine Brook Camp

Pine Brook’s calling is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for youth and adults to grow and develop mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We build and cultivate healthy relationships that are productive and long lasting. Our core values are essential in creating the programming and experiences for EVERY individual that we are blessed to serve.

Roberta Peabody

Roberta has served since 1991 with The Evangelical Alliance Mission (TEAM), in Tokyo Japan. After two years of Japanese language study, she partnered with another missionary in a church plant south of Yokohama. After that for 17 years she served as international staff of Word of Life Press Ministries (a ministry originally founded by TEAM in 1950) serving there until 2010. In 2010 Roberta finished a Master's degree at Tokyo Christian University. During her time in Japan she has served in both Japanese churches and international churches. After Home Assignment in 2010, she returned to Japan after the Great East Japan Disaster serving in relief work, while beginning to follow-up returnee Christians. In July of 2014, she was seconded to Japanese Christian Fellowship Network a ministry to Japanese returnee Christians, and began serving as JCFN associate staff since 2014 as a bilingual staff.
