Articles of Faith
In summary, acknowledging Jesus Christ as the head of the Church, we accept God as the Father, His Son, Jesus Christ our Savior, and the Holy Spirit, who is present with us; eternally existing in perfect fellowship. We join in covenant, one with another to worship, work and serve together; that we may express through this Church and our individual lives the love and faith revealed in Jesus Christ.
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.

Articles of Faith
The Bible
We believe the Bible as originally written, to be the very Word of God, recorded by man as inspired by God. 2 Timothy 3:16 2 Peter 1:19-21 Revelation 22:18-19
The Father
We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth. Genesis 1:1 Job 36:3 1 Corinthians 8:6
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is also a divine person, the third person of the Godhead; that at the time of salvation He baptizes, sanctifies, indwells gives gifts to and seals the believer for all time. Matthew 28:19 John 14:16-17 Romans 8:14, 16, 26-27 Hebrews 9:14
Atonement
We believe in the forgiveness of sins which is offered to all but granted only to those who trust fully in the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ for our sins. John 1:29 1 Timothy 1:15, 4:10 Hebrews 5:9
Believer's Baptism
We believe the Believer's Baptism to be baptism by immersion after an individual has expressed faith in Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:19 Acts 8:36-38
The Trinity
We accept the one God who has manifested Himself in three distinct persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:1 Matthew 28:19 1 Peter 1:2 2 Corinthians 13:14 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14
The Son
We believe in the absolute Deity of Jesus Christ the only begotten Son, our Lord; the second person in the Godhead; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried. On the third day, He rose from the dead, ascended into Heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. We believe He shall come again to judge the living and the dead. The Church
We believe in the church universal, which is the body of Christ, and consists of His true believers. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Church's true head. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 Ephesians 1:22-23, 4:11-12, 5:23 Colossians 1:18
Salvation
We believe that faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only condition of salvation and that we who believe in His death, burial and bodily resurrection shall have life everlasting. Isaiah 53:4-7 John 3:16 Romans 3:24-25 1 Peter 2:24
Marriage & Sexuality
We believe the term "Marriage has only ONE meaning and is defined as a union sanctioned by God which joins one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture (Genesis 2:23-24). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to only occur between a man and a woman who are married to each other. We believe that any form of sexual immorality or any attempt to change one's sex or disagreement with one's biological sex, is sinful and offensive to God.
